Dr. Michael Haynes was also born and raised in Daytona Beach. He graduated from Seabreeze High School and proceeded to Florida State University. He did his graduate studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston and his post graduate internship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. He has been a local Optometric Physician for since 1983. He is an active member of the AOA, the FOA and the Volusia-Seminole Optometric Association. He is Board Certified by the National Board of Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry. He is a guest lecturer at many civic and community organizations on cataracts, glaucoma, refractive surgery, and lasers. He brings to the team an extensive knowledge of Ocular Pathology and has been actively involved with Refractive Surgery patient care and research since 1982. In addition he is
skilled in primary eye care, contact lens fitting, visual and ocular health assessment and general patient
care.
Dr. Gregory T. Kipp is a born local of Daytona. He attended Seabreeze High School and graduated from Florida State University. He received his doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Kipp is a third generation Optometrist. His great uncle Dr. Kenneth West came to Daytona Beach, in the late 1920’s and practiced on Beach Street. Dr. Kipp’s father, Dr. Richard Kipp joined his uncle in 1947. Dr. Richard Kipp
has practiced on Ballough Road in Daytona since the early sixties. As destiny would have it Dr. Gregory
Kipp joined his father in practice in 1977. He is certified by the Florida Board of Optometry. He has been a
trusted local family physician in the community ever since.
Dr. Philip Toscano, O.D. was born in Vienna, Austria and his parents were in the American Military. Dr. Toscano came to the United States when he was 8. He lived in Philadelphia during High School. He received his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Stockton State College in New Jersey. He then received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. He also has Bachelors of Science degrees in Biology and Theoretical Optics and a Masters in Molecular Biology. His hobbies include motorcycle fabrication, foreign languages, and his dogs. His languages in order of fluency include: German, French, Spanish, Italian.
Dr. James Weaver, O.D. was born and raised in Johnstown, PA. Dr. Weaver received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Juniata College in Huntington, PA. He then received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. He is Board Certified by both the National Board of Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry. His services include primary eye care, medical optometry, and contact lens fitting.
Dr. Richard Seith, M.D. graduated with honors from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He received his training in both medicine and ophthalmology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Medical Association. His services include medical and surgical management of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other diseases of the eye.
