Dr. Suzzette Blahnik graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 1991. She was saluditorian of her graduating class. Dr. Blahnik maintains her membership in the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Florida Optometric Association (FOA). She is board certified by the IAB the NBEO and the Florida Board of Optometry. Locally she has served on the Board of Directors for the Center for the Visually Impaired. She has practiced Optometry in the area since 1992. Her specialties within the profession are primary eyecare, pre- and post-operative care and eye disease.

Dr. Gregory T. Kipp is a born local of Daytona. He attended Seabreeze High School and graduated from Florida State University. He received his doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Kipp is a third generation Optometrist. His great uncle Dr. Kenneth West came to Daytona Beach, in the late 1920’s and practiced on Beach Street. Dr. Kipp’s father, Dr. Richard Kipp joined his uncle in 1947. Dr. Richard Kipp has practiced on Ballough Road in Daytona since the early sixties. As destiny would have it Dr. Gregory Kipp joined his father in practice in 1977. He is certified by the Florida Board of Optometry. He has been a trusted local family physician in the community ever since.

Dr. Greg Blahnik graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1990. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of the AOA and the FOA. He is certified by the lAB, NBEO and the Florida Board of Optometry. Dr. Blahnik and his wife have practiced together in the Daytona area since 1992. His interests within the field of optometry are primary eye-care and contact lens care. He is our specialist in community reinvestment and has donated time to Special Olympics and other worthy organizations.

Dr. Michael Haynes was also born and raised in Daytona Beach. He graduated from Seabreeze High School and proceeded to Florida State University. He did his graduate studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston and his post graduate internship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. He has been a local Optometric Physician for since 1983. He is an active member of the AOA, the FOA and the Volusia-Seminole Optometric Association. He is Board Certified by the National Board of Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry. He is a guest lecturer at many civic and community organizations on cataracts, glaucoma, refractive surgery, and lasers. He brings to the team an extensive knowledge of Ocular Pathology and has been actively involved with Refractive Surgery patient care and research since 1982. In addition he is skilled in primary eye care, contact lens fitting, visual and ocular health assessment and general patient care.

Bonnie Chalker, O.D. is certified by the Florida Board of Optometry. She completed her undergraduate studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. She received her degree as a Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale Florida. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Volusia/Seminole Optometric Society.

Dr Martin Pourkesali, D.O.

Dr Martin Pourkesali, D.O. received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Central Florida. He then received his Doctorate from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He is skilled in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, lid procedures and medical retina. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is moving from Pennsylvania to Ormond Beach with his wife and daughter.
